Our Mission

To build a developed society founded on democratic culture and free our people from all forms of bondage.

Our Vision

To make Nigeria and Third world nations world leaders, centres of real development, technological, economic and social progress; peace, prosperity, love and freedom; owners of the 21st century, free from underdevelopment and its five evils: poverty, conflict, disease, illiteracy and lack of capacity.

Our Core Values

Our Objective is primarily to enrich, enlighten and empower.

Whatever we do we ask:

  • Does it enrich the people?

  • Does it enlighten the people?

  • Does it empower the people?

If it fails the '3E Test' we don't do it?

Our projects operates on 3 Cardinal Principles:

i.   Necessity: Usefulness to the People, to mankind

  • Does it bring development?

  • Does it reduce or eliminate human misery, inequality and inequity?

  • Does it promote freedom and liberty?

  • Does it accord with democratic principle?

  • Is it congenial with the dynamics of an open society?

ii.   Viability: Workability

  • Does it accord with our values and mission?

  • Does it fit into our strategic plan?

  • Can we mobilize/secure adequate resources for the project?

  • Do we have the expertise to effectively execute it internally?

  • Is it feasible, workable, attainable, achievable?

  • Can our expectations and that of our public be met?

iii.  Sustainability:

  • Can it be sustained?

  • Is it legal? Is it morally defensible?

  • Can it continue to be feasible/viable and necessary?

  • Can it be reinvented and re-engineered?

  • Can we develop and meet the technical, legal, political, social, financial and governance requirements over time?

If it passes the 3 Principles Test, we will do it.

Development Clinic International (DECI) works to achieve a millennial vision not only dazed by that imagination. We seek to make every individual, every nation responsible for one another, for human progress and development. We demand individual and collective action to achieve the millennial vision of peace and prosperity, brilliance and beauty, duty and development and  to eliminate the five perennial development problem areas of poverty, disease, conflict, illiteracy and leadership failures that have plagued mankind since time began. We see the millennial vision not only as a prophetic spiritual expectation in the future, but as a democratic resolution today that demands that we resist and eradicate social evils, mobilize mankind for correction, and take the risks to struggle for justice, peace, prosperity and global progress.

To turn the earth into heaven may be an impossible task but we will try. it is the only option for the simple reason that we live here. We live here to make the world a safer and better place for those who will come after us. Only those who prepare for heaven get there!

Let us join hands to make the world a better place for our generation and that to come.
